The Little Things Can Make The Biggest Things

I have to say, life is a difficult journey. If you make the wrong turn, it may take years before you get back on the right road... Yesterday was Valentine's Day. Matt was a sweet heart. The night before he pulled the mattress into the living room, and lit a fire. (For the past three nights, we have been watching the Jurassic Park series.) We woke up on Valentine's Day late, needless to say, I missed my classes. I guess it was worth it, being Valentine's Day. I got a white rose, chocolates, a beautiful card and he took me on a date. The choice, in Matt's case, would be to get me something to show he cares, or nothing and saving for the future. The steps that happened with in that day, is what made the day. There are so many choices you make in a day, and it seems so minute, but the fact is that it alters your entire day. Choices have arrows pointing in opposite directions. I made a choice on June 19th, 2010 to get married to Matt and change myself from Rachel Prettyman to Rachel Blackwell. Choices don't have to be a life choice, it can be one so small, that you don't think it would do any damage. We had a choice to eat somewhere nice, or somewhere cheap. We chose a happy medium, somewhere delicious and inexpensive, and in turn, we had leftover money. It's decisions like that, that I am talking about. Choices are our life, but I don't think people are really thinking about that, otherwise, why would some people be making the mistakes they are, unless they want the repercussions. In the end, choices are always a necessary step in living a healthy life.
